The Smartree Workforce Index analysis made by Smartree, the HR outsourcing firm, says that last year the salaries went up by 9 percent and bonuses increased by 19 percent in private environment compared with 2015. “The increase in the employees number was due mainly to the opening of new work points in Romania by multinationals. Thus, fields such as IT, retail, outsourcing, HR, accounting and logistics were those with the highest increase in 2016. But also 2016 meant a big challenge for companies to find the necessary qualified personnel and also to keep the valuable employees,” said Adrian Stanciu, CEO Smartree. According to him, the companies that had to increase the salaries according to the Smartree statistics, increased them by an average by 9.35 percent. On the other hand, taking into account the changing labor market, the employees needed other motivation instruments. Thus, the bonuses offered by companies increased last year by almost 19 percent. “Besides the bonuses given to employees, generally according to their performance or with the occasion of some events (Christmas, Easter etc), the company adopted also other benefits systems to motivate the employees still in the recruiting and selection stage, “ said Stanciu. This is why more and more employers try to adapt to the requests and needs of the employees, including by offering new facilities programs. Source: www.business-review.eu
