Infographic: 7 Things about the Sick Leave

The sick leave grants days off in case of illness or for health care. The Labor Code stipulates, in Article 50, paragraph b) that, if there is a leave for temporary incapacity, the individual contract is suspended.

The workers have the right to benefit from the leave granted for temporary disability caused by illness or accidents occurring out of the working hours or the work office under Government Emergency Ordinance no. 158/2005.

Also, the insured receives sick leave after the medical certificate is issued by the doctor, according to regulations. Please see the infographic about the sick leave.
