As the executive director of Smartree, Stanciu wants to grow the business next year, to extend the range of services and enhance the company’s position as market leader.
Adrian Stanciu has worked as a member of the investment bank Merrill Lynch and Mississippi State Treasury and has held various positions at companies such as Deloitte and SSIF IEBA Trust.
Smartree offers a complete range of outsourcing HR services, from payroll, personnel administration, analysis and reporting for management, recruitment and temporary work, consulting to HR processes.
In March, Enterprise Investors bought from the businessman Eric Kish (former director of Rompetrol) a 56% of shares of the Romanian company, for 3 million euro. The acquisition was made through venture capital fund Enterprise Venture Fund 1.
Following the agreed contract, the fund made available for Smartree Romania an expansion capital of 3 million euro in exchange for a package of 56% shares.
The company has over 150 clients, multinational companies and companies with Romanian capital and is present in cities like Bucharest, Constanta, Cluj-Napoca, Pitesti and Timisoara.
