The outsourcing market in Romania has evolved even in times of crisis and the first three quarters of 2011 have led to a revitalization of this area.
“If you look at the first three quarters of 2011, we see a thawing outsourcing market, due to the fact that there is a revival of the global economy. However, the current situation is not a guarantee for the next period, which is still characterized by a high degree of uncertainty”, said Adrian Stanciu, CEO Smartree Romania, provider of outsourcing services of payroll and personnel administration.
He added that the market has become more active in the case of Romanian companies, which are still quite conservative when it comes to outsourcing.
“For them, the outsourcing is not a part of Romanian culture and, therefore, it takes more time to become commonplace. More open are multinationals who are educated in outsourcing and doing this for a long time. However, Romanian companies have reached a level that will optimize costs and begin to look increasingly more serious and this option, especially for concluding the automation software for payroll and personnel administration operations”, the Smartree CEO said.
According to him, in the temporary work, there is an increase of demand due to several factors.
“On one hand, the new regulations, on the other hand, the desire to flex direct relationship between the number of employees and the level of demand of services or products”, noted Adrian Stanciu.
He believes that the market is becoming more educated about outsourcing, as more companies focus on their core business and choose to outsource activities that do not have a well-defined specialization: IT, security, payroll and the list goes on. “The market has evolved even during the crisis, the more you will see how the market is education when we get out of the crisis”, he said.
