In December, the state of the economy grew by 6.28% compared to the same month in 2019. This growth was driven by the upward trend in both the number of available jobs and salary levels. Specifically, the two indicators that determine the state of the economy increased by 2.31% and 10.25% respectively in December 2020 compared to December 2019, with the salary growth in the private sector being the highest recorded this year.
The indicator reflecting employee well-being decreased much less than in previous months, with an average drop of -4.66% compared to the same month last year. This downward trend was primarily due to a reduction in employee benefits, down by approximately 21%. However, the number of vacation days taken increased by 11.5% compared to December 2019.
