Starting November this year, Smartree Romania has become a member of ARAMT (Romanian Association of Temporary Workers Agents), which currently gathers about 15 international and local companies. Through this association, Smartree aims to streamline labor market access and create new jobs, in the context of Romania’s lowest rate of temporary employment contracts in Europe. ARAMT’s mission is to support the development and promotion of this type of service at a local level, as well as to facilitate the adjustment of existing laws to the norms and practices recommended by the European Union. Practically, the association informs the public about labor flexibility, participates in social dialogue in order to obtain solutions for the increase of the employment rates in Romania, promotes the advantages of temporary work in the business environment, as well as the quality standards, ethics and best practices in this segment. The decision to join ARAMT represents a commitment for Smartree to develop this business division with a focus on promoting the leasing of staff and the benefits they offer. Smartree, an authorized temporary work agent since 2010, is among the top ten agencies with this object of activity in Romania. Temporary employment services are an effective way for companies that are targeting cost reductions or that are running working project activities. This solution has gradually become more used in Romania which means an increased number of local companies that use this type of collaboration. Smartree has now reached more than 1,600 temporary employees, which means an increase of more than 50% in the number of employees as compared to the previous year’s average. This evolution is due to the permanent expansion of client’s portfolio from different areas, such as telecom, software development or pharma. In addition, Smartree’s temporary work services are based on an increased customer transparency due to the integration with some internal software tools such as timekeeping module, recruitment and payroll, tools that provide high control over operations.
